Well, yes, if they could decide things like, just who is Kerry Fraser, really, to pass moral judgement on what does or does not constitute high sticking, really? It’s not like they’re elected by hockey fans? They’re just “experts” who are enforcing a de facto national officiating standard.
What we’re doing with this core service review is the same thing every family across the city does every day. When average Torontonians are making tough decisions about their household budgets, your government at City Hall can and must do the same.

Word. And it also ignores the fact that:
- the average Toronto family has at least one functioning brain
- the average Toronto family doesn’t get to have secret meetings with deep-pocketed developers
- the average Toronto family doesn’t make decisions on the basis of spoiled-child tantrums
- the average Toronto family doesn’t base its entire approach to life on lies, resentment, ignorance and rank bullshit
